Kenneth J. Hagen LSCSW

Kenneth J. Hagen, LSCSW has been a part of the New Beginnings Health Care team since 2001, offering individual, couples and family therapy. In addition to his work treating anxiety and depression, he has specialized skills in working with chronic pain and stress disorders. He offers biofeedback services with special emphasis on heart rate variability training. In addition, he can teach a range of behavioral skills for coping and effective living.  Albert Einstein said, “The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the level of thinking that created them.” This may help explain why so many of us have difficulty resolving traumatic experience. Mr. Hagen has training in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a technique in therapy found helpful in resolving trauma.  Relationships at work or at home can become strained. Conflict resolution and communication skills assist people to address dissent. Sometimes we need a guide, sometimes a teacher. Mr. Hagen is glad to be of service.
