Psychiatric APRN/PA

New Beginnings is seeking qualified an APRN, PA, or Psychiatrist with mental health experience to provide outpatient medication management for adults, adolescents or children. This position is full-time (part time may also be possible), and primarily an in-office setting, but working remotely is also possible through Telehealth.

We are willing to help the right clinician develop a caseload, but can also accommodate a clinician with existing patients. This is a great position for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person who would like the flexibility of private practice while also having the benefits and support of a group practice..


As a New Beginnings provider, you will have the benefit of a flexible schedule, develop a caseload focusing on your area of interest and expertise, and choose your own insurance panels. You also have the professional support and comradery of other clinicians who love their work but also want a more balanced work and home life. 

Position Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Complete mental health intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation using EMR System.
  • Provide direct clinical and medication services to clients with mental health diagnoses,
  • Perform and complete accurate patient records and reports regarding history, progress, services provided, physical and mental examination, lab reports and other required information.
  • Order appropriate laboratory and other diagnostic tests and procedures, as indicated.
  • Collaborate with other New Beginnings professionals as well as other outside agencies and providers, as appropriate.
  • Maintain compliance with all New Beginnings Health Care policies and procedures

Interpersonal and Professional Skills

  

  • Ability to interact and communicate in a calm, professional manner.
  • Ability to manage clinical paperwork in a timely manner and meet billing deadlines.
  • Ability to contribute to the group dynamic in positive and healthy way that supports the practice growth and contributes to a positive environment.

Education and Experience

  

  • Graduate of an accredited APRN, PA, or Psychiatric program.
  • A minimum of two-years experience providing direct clinical services to clients.

Certification and licensure

  • Current APRN, PA, or Psychiatric licensure in State of Kansas.
  • Certified as an APRN, PA or Psychiatrist by a recognized national certifying body that has established standards for these professions.
  • Certified as Psychiatric Mental Health-Nurse Practitioner recognized by the ANCC or APNA..
  • If APRN, provide services in accordance with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, the written protocol, and under the direction of the supervising physician
  • DEA license required for prescribing controlled substance

Pay and BenefitS

This is a fee for service  position with an established referral source. Depending on credentials, earning potential from $85,000 to $120,000 a year for full time. Benefits  include a competitive compensation package including:

Mental Health Therapist

As a New Beginnings Therapist, you will have the benefit of a flexible schedule, develop a caseload focusing on your area of interest and expertise, and choose your own insurance panels. You also have the professional support and comradery of other clinicians who love their work but also want a more balanced work and home life. 

We are seeking qualified clinicians to provide outpatient therapy for adults and/or children to meet an increasing demand for service. This position is full-time (part time work may also be possible), and is only available to those who possess a clinical license to practice independently, such as an LSCSW or PsyD. This position is primarily an in-office setting, but working remotely is also possible through Telehealth.

Position Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Complete mental health intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation as necessary.
  • Provide direct clinical services to clients (includes individual, group, and family therapy).
  • Complete and maintain accurate records and reports regarding the patient’s' history, progress, services provided, and other required information.
  • Collaborate with other New Beginnings professionals and outside the agencies and providers, as appropriate.
  • Maintain compliance with all New Beginnings Health Care policies and procedures.

Interpersonal and Professional Skills

  • Ability to interact and communicate in a calm, professional manner
  •  Ability to manage paperwork and encounter notes in a timely manner and meet billing deadlines
  • Ability to contribute to the group dynamic in positive and healthy way that supports the growth of the practice and contributes to a positive environment.

Education and Experience

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, psychology or counseling (Required).
  • Independently licensed in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or counseling (Required).
  • A minimum of two years experience providing direct clinical services to clients.
  • Ability to take Medicare (Preferred)

Pay and Benefits

This is a fee for service practice and not a salaried position. Earning potential up to $70,000 a year for full time.
